What is "AURIS"?!

AURIS stands for AUgmented Reality Interactive System and is a game which interacts with the ambience (edge-detection-collision) and the goal to move a projected ball to a specific position. Complete up to 9 levels to earn credits and spend them on new skins or try to beat the programmer's highscore!

Keep your ball alive by not touching the edges of the screen and try to reach as many goals as you can to be the best in "AURIS"!

It is an Open Source game and downloadable at github. (see at the top-right corner) Click on the picture to see the official AURIS trailer:

Who created it and why?

AURIS was created by Peter Pfaffeneder and Andreas Bitzan under the supervision of Bonifaz Kaufmann at the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, Austria. The game was developed and designed within 4 weeks and is not in it's final state yet. (alpha?) Therefore, AURIS was developed for an internship at the university by these two "trainees".

4) Click on a level-number to play and control the ball by moving black/very dark obstacles in front of your camera/webcam. Try to push the ball into the goal to earn your rewards! When playing with a projector, attach the webcam onto the projector and slowly move the projected ball around a wall with some black/dark obstacles. But be careful!! Don´t let the ball touch the edges of your screen! You don't want to watch him die right?
